The customer needed a Qseven module based on the Intel Apollo Lake processor family. Specialized BIOS customization was involved to meet the government's stringent security mandates. Minor heatsink modifications were also necessary. A challenge was the set time frame: there was less time until series production than usually required for comparable projects.

Using parallel development, we were able to customize the standard BIOS of a Qseven module and the heatsink in a very short time. After placing the order, SECO managed to go into production with the modules very quickly.

SECO was able to meet all technical requirements within the limited time window, and the customer has chosen SECO as a technology partner for upcoming projects.
